Below you will find the preliminary agenda for Buggy Blast XXII in Bastrop. For Saturday & Sunday, the cruise times listed below are approximate. We are continuing to refine the routes and will keep everyone updated. We are planning to keep the lunch start time at 11:30 am for each day.

Friday, May 24: Meet & Greet
– Time: 7:00 PM
– Location: Sandra & Dave’s in Bastrop (1305 Wilson Street)
– If it’s convenient, bring an appetizer, snack dessert or drink to share.
– We have a cedar hot tub that accommodates 8 so please feel free to bring your suit and a towel.
– Buggies are optional! There will be adult beverages, so please plan appropriately. Maybe a designated driver?
– We want to spend as much time as possible in our buggies but let’s make sure we all have a fun and super safe weekend.

Saturday, May 25: Cruise (preliminary)
– We will leave the Hampton Inn @ 9:30 am.
– Lunch will be ~ 11:30 am in Winchester, Texas.
– After lunch, we will head back to Bastrop for a group activity near the downtown area. Planning to arrive ~ 2:00-2:30 pm.
– There will be a festival called “Yesterfest” ongoing in the downtown area of Bastrop. After our activity, please feel free to stay in the downtown area to visit the festival which ends at 4:00 pm.
– We will plan for an informal dinner on Saturday evening in downtown Bastrop @ 7:00 pm.

Sunday, May 26: Cruise & Group Dinner (preliminary)
– We will leave the Hampton Inn @ 9:00 am.
– Our 1st stop will be at ~ 9:30 am.
– Lunch will be ~ 11:30 am in Paige, Texas.
– After lunch we will head for our 2nd stop arriving ~ 2:00 pm.
– After this stop, we will head back to Bastrop arriving at 3:30-4:00 pm.
– The Group Dinner will be @ 7:00 pm in a downtown Bastrop restaurant.

Can't wait. It's going to be a great weekend. Looking forward to seeing our buggy friends.

Please, please, please if you are thinking of coming signup! This is the time that Dave and Sandra need to prepare for our group stops, including restaurants and they all need a good head count estimate. This can greatly affect the quality of service they can provide. Especially if we show up with a larger group than they expected.

So do the venues and all of us a solid and register!

That's exactly what we started thinking about, as Delia and I read this post. Could not stop laughing.
I search for a picture, but THANK GOD we didn't find one in our files. LOL

- There will be a gas stop approximately 1 hour into the cruise.
– Lunch will be ~ 11:30 am in Winchester, Texas.
– After lunch, we will head back to Bastrop for a group activity near the downtown area. Planning to arrive ~ 2:00-2:30 pm.
– There will be a festival called “Yesterfest” ongoing in the downtown area of Bastrop. After our activity, please feel free to stay in the downtown area to visit the festival which ends at 4:00 pm.
– We will plan for an informal dinner on Saturday evening in downtown Bastrop @ 7:00 pm.

Sunday, May 26: Cruise & Group Dinner
– We will leave the Hampton Inn @ 9:00 am.
– Our 1st stop will be at ~ 10:00 am. Rest rooms are available at this stop, but no gas so plan accordingly.
– Lunch will be ~ 11:30 am in Paige, Texas. There will be an opportunity for gas right before our lunch stop.
– After lunch we will head for our 2nd stop arriving ~ 2:00 pm. Rest rooms are available at this stop.
– After this stop, we will head back to Bastrop arriving at 3:30-4:00 pm.
– The Group Dinner will be @ 6:30 pm at the 602 Brewing Company (919 Main Street in Bastrop).

For those who have ordered T-shirts, the cost will be $20 per shirt. We will hand them out Friday evening / Saturday morning.
