Thanks for the compliments guys. Its a lot of work to get to this point. All the sanding, fiberglass, sanding, bondo sanding and more sanding.

Got the body parts painted. Came out really good on these parts but wasnt happy with one side pod and the hood. They picked up some trash during the clear coating that I cant live with so I will sand and re-shoot. This is two coats of black primer, three coats of candy apple red metallic and four coats of clear coat. Once cured real good I will wet sand, buff and polish.

Its a labor of love Richard. It has its ups and downs with some disappointments but you figure it out and fix it. These projects have taught me how to think outside the box to make things work. Also that there is no right way or wrong way as long as you are happy with your results. The biggest thing I have learned from these buggy builds is how to have " PATIENCE" !

Isnt it crazy what a change the clear coat makes over the base coat. These pictures are just the the candy apple red base coat before I shot the clear coat.

That's really nice looking, I look forward to seeing it done, I can do anything mechanical but body work and paint are a no go for me.

I havent given an update in awhile on the buggy so I figured I would give one. At this point I am just waiting on the interior to be finished by my interior guy. Once i receive it I will be all in to finish it up. I am so ready to have it on the road. I'm not going to post any pictures at this point so all can see it for the first time in Glenrose. I will say this though, we like the way the buggy turned out so much we had to buy a truck to match it!
