help me identify the buggy It was recently brought to my attention that it might be a sandwinder ...but there is not the bump between the hood scoops for the id plate it is smooth.... I want side pods and I think they are pretty universal fit but I want to make sure!

Frootloops, even the side pods made for the body won't fit correctly. Figure on having to do some trimming and fitting on your own. That's just how it is. If your lucky, they will be close but not perfect. I noticed you have a lift under the body. You might want to get rid of that before you try to fit side pods, or you'll have extensive work to do. :)

Not for sure but looks just like mine and I was told it's a California Clipper.

I was going to guess California Clipper too. Look at the dune buggy archives at www.dunebuggyarchives.com

They should be able to tell you for sure.

The California Clipper has a very close resemblance but the clipper has a center hump on the hood and the tail section is a flip up style and no hump

P.S . I personally believe you can make Bobbies Texas Buggy side pods work on that buggy. All need some type of modification , but they all look at home when they are molded to the body.
