Well it's done

Postby S/C4095 » 20 Sun Sep, 2009 9:22 pm

Well it's finally up and running, tagged, titled, and insured. Wish it had been ready for the Labor day Parade, but needed a little more TLC. I know I still will be doing little things on it from time to time. I guess not to many shows or anything this late in the year. Here's a few pics.

Its too bad the paint doesnt show up better in the pics. That Purple flake is outstanding. My next build will have paint like that. Black base with the purple flake coered with miles of clear 8-) 8-) 8-) If you want shoot me an email with a pic with the camera on a higher resolution and I'll post it up for you. Just an amazing job. 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-) 8-)

Bobby, the dash is cut from a piece of aluminum plate then powder coated
It does look alot better in direct sun light. I also think it needed a few more coats of clear. Thinking of doing live flame or a ghost flame starting with a white to silver and blend in tips with candy purlple. To me it might be a little too much of the black pearl. Something needs to put it in motion. Just my opinion. Any thoughts what might work?
