It's kinda quiet here.
The sun came out this morning in north Texas. Anybody gonna try to get the buggy out??
I might try but it will probably have to wait until Sunday.

Well the snow came out here in Western Massachusetts today. A toasty 30 degrees when I woke up this morning.

I had to turn the shop heater on last night.

I had mine out last night. Picked up my youngest from school for the first time, he didn't know I was coming and was thrilled to climb in in front of all of his friends. I also picked up the oldest from football practice in it.

I didn't drive it to work this morning as it was only 50 degrees out, but plan on getting it when I go home for lunch. Kind of dangerous though, as it could easily be mistaken for Texas orange this weekend.

the forum isn't as slow as the facebook page though

Isn't Sunday the Bug Out in Ennis?
I'm contemplating actually taking the buggy down this time...we'll see.

Perry from NY is in town. He has a very nice collection of original manxs, including a mono. He may be taking the two NOS signiture bodies I have. He is going to be here around 2pm. Anyone who wants to come by and say hi and talk buggies is welcome, just let me know you are coming and to get directions.

Sunday Arron Roberts is coming over with his original Manx, I am going to help him set it up for sale. Anyone who would like to catch up is again welcome.

Ok! Let me get this right. Saturday about 2ish to meet Perry and hang out and talk buggies. Or Sunday to come over and work!!!!
Hmmmmm let me think!!!!!

Actually, I can't get by on Saturday. But Sunday might be a different story. I might be able to slip away for a couple of hours.

Rick. I'll call you.

Hi Dave

No work on Sunday, either. Just Arron coming over to determine a asking price and getting it posted on Samba. It is a nice original Manx. He has about $15000 in it. New 1776, dual carbs, disc brakes, all around. Totally rebuilt.

If you want to come by and work, I'll come up with something for you to work on.

Keep me posted on what you are doing Sunday David. My youngest just spiked a fever so I'm guessing I won't be allowed to go clear to Ennis.

I drank your share of the beer. Also you are now committed to a cruise to California via Route 66. We planned it out and figured you would be agreeable

As long as we trailer to Amarillo and catch 66 there I'm game. When do we leave. Remember that we are traveling through the desert so it doesn't need to be in the summer time. Albuquerque the first night than what?????

Actually towed mine to San Antonio and took it cruising with my brother Friday night to a place called Biffs. Second time to drive it. Got a lot of looks and compliments especially from the older crowd. Cant belive I had to come all the way to SA to take it for a spin. Too cool and wet up here in OK. Slept in to late to try to get to the Shoot out even tough it was on the way home. Any more show this year in the North Texas area? Sure would like to bring it down and meet some of you guys.
