Radio holder

Postby BrianB » 03 Tue Nov, 2009 1:01 pm

Someone at the Round was talking about some fiberglass molded piece that the radio fits in that you mount under the dash. Just wondering who that was and if they are in the mood to pop out another one? I am getting closer to being ready for paint and might want to put one in before then.

Bobby made a mold that made a holder that fit the dash contours great. It looked like it was made for the car.

Radio Shack has a really cool "under the dash" radio mount too. It's a black plastic & the surface matches our Manx's ABS dash real well.
I think it was $9.99.

Well at least with some tips at the least. The most glass work I've done is help my dad patch a hole in our old bass boat. It was pretty extensive work, but he did all of the laying & my brother & I did the sanding & the grinding to prep it for paint.
