Is any one running a merged header besides one with a stinger. Maybe a side winder or a tri mil version. Trying to do something different. What about places to buy pieces such as the merged collector and thick flanges. What I would like to do is run one small round muffler from a collector straight back under the right cylinder bank. Any thoughts?

Being that its air cooled I dont know if I would run any muffler below either cylinder bank. Diregard this if I misunderstood your point!

I have the Trimill Bobcat that I got from Jack Duncan. If you bring up his White Bandit build you will see it there. Personally I think it's the way to go although maybe having a true muffler would be easier on the ears
There is also a company that makes an exhaust that goes forward and exits in front of the rear wheels. I think it is called GDOWN or something. I posted a link back in July or August.

Here is one that is a little expensive  $1000 is a lot of money to spend on an exhaust system.

That almost looks like a side winder. Yes you are right that is a little steep for an exhaust system. I like the dual in front of the wheels but of course it's not a merged header. Right now im playing with different Ideas. Still looking for a merged collector or maybe an old rusted out header to cut up and fit
