Was trying to find out where Hawkeye Buggies was & discovered that they are about 18 miles from where I grew up & where my parents still live.

Next Thursday will be Turkey day. I will be out there then for a few days. Might have to give them a call & swing by if they aren't busy that weekend.
Funny thing is, that's where my buggy is at. Since it's so close, that's probabay were I should go for a new roll cage when it's time for that. Wish I could afford a whole custom frame for the thing.

No. Doug does the suspensions out of Hawkeye Buggies. Narrowed dropped/raised front ends etc.

Where were you raised? I don't know about you but I never grew up, I play with toys everyday. I can meet you Thanksgiving weekend if you would like. Just let me know when and I will be here.

I lived out in Coke TX just West of Winnsboro & North of Quitman. I driven up & down FM 312 & FM 14 so many times I could get to Lake Hawkins with my eyes closed.
No I never really grew up either, my toys just got more expensive. On the upside, they seem to last longer than before.

We are in the burbs of Hawkins, 2 miles South of Pine Mills. Turn East on CR 3947 and then first drive on right.

Yup, not much there in Greenpond. That's less than 10 miles from "home". My dad was the Chief of Police in Como for a while. I remember riding along with him on a 3 department car chase that ended on the back roads over near there when the guy blew the brand new motor in his old Camaro.
If you take FM 1567 from Greenpond over to HyWy 154, there's a BBQ joint right there called Big Smith's that has the best BBQ around IMO.
