Its best to use a photo hosting site like photobucket. You can send them to me and I'll post them for you.

I'm liking that cage, it doesn't render the rear seat useless. Might have to think about that some.

They're Rally Sport wheels. You can get them in just about any diameter and width from companies like Wheel Vintiques.

Buggy for sale

Postby Rick Leddon » 04 Fri Dec, 2009 9:22 pm

I guess this one isn't much of a project. I have a friend who needs to see this one and I am helping him. I do have a buggy project. Buggy body, shortened pan, and front end for $200. Needs a hood that I can provide for an additional $100. Thanks Rick

Bill K, I think you can get those wheel from Summit or Jegs. As fullup says, they have all sizes & you can get them in chrome or argent painted & also offer a variety of center caps. It is the same design as used on the early Camaros, Chevelles, Monte Carlo & such. Don't know what El Camino you have, but a lot of the 68+ model Caminos also had these wheels.

Thanks Jim. I have an '86 El Camino. Second only to Dune Buggies is my love affair with El Caminos.

Also, can anyone help me identify what kind of wheel is the one below? It looks like it has a name engraved in the hub cap, but I can't seem to make it our.

That's another option I'm looking at for the Camino.

Wheels id

Those are CENTEC wheels. I have a set like them on my 33 PLYMOUTH Sdn. Were popular about 20 years ago but may still be available today.
