Tried to do a buggy build last year, didnt happen.I picked up a buggy tonight.I have alot of questions. Will try to get pics up tomorrow.1st off its on a 60's frame, with a link pin front end.Is this a good front end?Can you put disc brakes on it?On a frame off that age ,what are my trans option?Could I get a 73 and up trans on there?I wanna build a buggy capable of highway cruising.Wanna build a safe, streetable, reliable buggy. Thanks in advance!

I have no complaints about a link pin front end.

Whew!! You dont want much do ya!?! LOL. 1st, 60s Pans are fine, Link pin front ends are bulletproof but wander a little, you may have an issue with fitting an IRS transaxle in there... nothin a whole bunch of money and time wont remedy, the same goes with a front disk brake conversion. So all of this depends on how handy you are with tools and how much of this you plan to do yourself. There isn't anything in your plan that hasn't been done by someone in this club and we have access to most parts and know-how. Welcome!!! I look forward to watching your build.

Thanks Fred. I know all projects take time and money, lol two things I'm always short on. As far as being handy with tools,I guess I'm not to bad.Have always worked as a mechanic.I also built my own race car. It's a 75 chevy luv with a 540 ci big block chevy in it.Did everything except resplining the axle and building the trans.I also have a 70 bug that I lowered has a 73 trans with a 1641 sp. Really want a buggy thats as fun to drive as my bug!
