When you are painting your Buggies a single color, how much of the actual color are you buying?

Well now. Beings I have painted my buggy 3 times in the last month I have some experience in this.

I can paint my entire buggy inside and out (keep in mind I have side pods) with 2 red solo cups of paint.

I'm using an HVLP gun, so I get very little overspray.

You will want to do more than that in clear.

and a word to the wise,

do not go anywhere near your buggy with a sharpie. They bleed through everything, almost impossible to get rid of.

Thank you! I am thinking about going with a BMW Color for the main color. Laguna Seca Blue is a color that they used for the M3, and only for a couple of years. It will be a great color to put some funky graphics on.

It seems like all the shows that you see on TV use a sharpie to point out places they need to fix. But I can see how you would get bleed through, the darn things write on just about anything. With that being said I will take your advice to heart and never write on my Buggy with a Sharpie!

I have read that using a normal pencil is the thing to use if you must. Seems reasonable to me, what do you think?
