Fuel Prices

Postby Ken » 08 Mon Feb, 2016 11:52 am

I bought my diesel truck in 2004.
I paid the least for diesel I have even pumped into this truck this weekend.
North San Antonio I paid $1.65/gal.
SW Austin is still a little higher at $1.85/diesel, but I've seen gasoline at $1.45 around here.

$50 fill up sure is nice, but I'm concerned how the oil drop is going to start affecting the countries overall economy.
I'm sure south Texas is not so pleased with my $50 fill up!!!!!

Makes me curious what other parts of the state are seeing?

My royalty checks have fallen to next to nothing. On the flip side, it is getting real cheep to fill up my buggy with premium gas. I think you have a valid concern about the economy. Mix the low gas prices with the troubles that China is having and throw in issues with the banks due to the impact on the oil patch and its suppliers and we may be approaching a perfect storm. I have decided to take the Ostrich approach. Just stick my head in the sand and hope it goes away. In the mean time it sure is getting pretty outside. Time to take the buggy out.
