Same in seabrook.....we are lucky with all the rooftop rescues all around us, our old 1955 neighborhood drains perfectly. glad you and the family are well Bill....saw the mandatory evacuations out your way and was a little worried about you.

I'm glad you are OK, Bryan. We were worried about you and your area.

We just got power back. I'm hoping we keep it this time.

We are good here but it has been a crazy couple of days. We live in League City but very lucky, our house is on higher ground in our neighborhood. All around us it is flooded. My son was just rescued from Dickinson by the National Guard and is safe here with us now. Even in my 4x4 we cant go more than 5 miles in any direction. All in all we are very fortunate at this time. Wish there was more we could do for our neighbors but without a boat not much we can do but give support.

Hey, Heath............Bill & I are so glad you and Shannon are okay---and your son!! I guess we will all have our share of "war stories", but just to be alive and in our own home and high and dry at this point is more of a blessing than I can convey.

Since there are people from all over the country who look at this website, I am humbly asking your prayers for all the people who have been displaced and lost most of their earthly possessions. I know they are glad to be alive, but there is a looooong journey of rebuilding ahead for all of them. Prayers, please.................Linda Knesek
