I know of a guy who is working on a design for a buggy cover while pulling it on a trailer. He hopes to have it ready for folks to see by the VW classic

Thanks Bill, Keep us posted.
A little rain didn't really hurt the aqua buggy (poly seats) but Id like to keep the cloth seats in the orange buggy dry. (don't think the wife will like sitting on wet seats)

Yea, Chris, that is the down side of me fully upholestering my buggy, including carpet. Towing in a hard rain would not be a good thing.

Yes, but only to the extent that there should be a prototype at the Classic. I'm very anxious to see it.

Yea Bryan, I also drove home from the Classic through rain most of the way. My car got pretty dirty from wheel spray from my tow vehicle and passing trucks. My interior did pretty good because, as you said, I was continually rolling along.
What I worry about is a real downpour, and having to stop at red lights.
Did you see the trailer cover Billy Blair had for sale at the Classic? I thought it was pretty neat.
I'm debating one of those, or a good convertible top for my car.

I never directly asked Billy, but I think someone told me $1,400 to $1,500, but I'm not all sure about that.
Maybe Billy will see this post and give the price. I wish I had shot a few pictures. Maybe someone did, and they will post some pictures of the cover.
It was certainly well done.
