Lone Pine Trip

Postby GregR » 10 Thu May, 2007 1:51 pm

May 3~7 David Head and I took a little excursion to the Manx Club's "Buggying in Boulder Creek" event held in Lone Pine, California.
We had a great time both buggying (way off road) and meeting some great folks, Mel, Paulette, Gene, Joseph, Jimbo, Mark, Dale, Don, Mike & Mel, Kenny, Ira and many more.
The Texas Manx CLub has a standing invite to go out and play...if you get the chance, I recommend it. Way too much fun to be legal!

That sounds like it was a great trip....does a body good to get away from time to time!
If at first you don't succeed, beat the pshaw out of the business partner, and then go at it alone! LOL!

It was a pleasure having you two out our way. Were your cheeks tired after grinning from ear to ear all weekend?! :D :D Sorry you missed sunday. You would have loved playing in the Alabama Hills.

Here are some of the pics that we took.

First post here. Had such a good time out there with you all that I thought I'd come visit from time to time.

I heard my wife gently complaining to a girlfriend about buggying through the sandstorm for a few miles. Her friend replied something like, Think of it as a free derm-abrasion. Some people pay good money for those.
