Woke up this morning to gale force winds & heavy rain in England :cry: something tells me its sunny in Texas,,, beam me over Scotty :)

I will be posting photos as the body design gets done Mel, again thanks for you post on DSB. It really gave an old f$$$t a hand up on something I have wanted to do for many years. I know she won't be what one would call KISS, but then I am Stupid :D

I have one question, did you brush the metal flake on in the construction of the buggy in the pick,she sure looked good.

Neal, the metalflake is sprayed on, but its no big deal to do, you don't have to be a paint guy to spray that stuff in the molds, in fact a brush gel buggy is harder to do IMO. Will go into that later though.

You can use a brush to put ''flake jewels in gel'' but I feel this method is best used on very small parts > it has to be 'stippled' on taking care to ensure that the particles are distributed in such a way that they do not follow and show up brush marks.
If metallic jewels are brushed on in the nomal 'solid color' way the effect will be comparable to that of a grass lawn mown in different directions.

I just looked at Mels website over there in good old England..........great site.
I am glad your out of the shed..........your articles on the other sites ( I can not remember how to get on them 0 lost all the darn passwords ) but your articles with allen's help are very informative indeed.
