If it is the one used in "The Thomas Crown Affair" , it was a manx that was modified to take the headlights, and the engine was a 140 HP corvair engine.
If at first you don't succeed, beat the pshaw out of the business partner, and then go at it alone! LOL!

The body was developed from a Manx Kit............Convair did it I believe.

Last I heard the original was in Hawaii...........but someone made some copies or a mold and sold some. I saw one ( a picture of it ) in Canada post last year.
