Texas VW Classic Classes

Postby GregR » 04 Sun Nov, 2007 7:28 am

Steve Chamberlain, head of the Texas VW Classic aprroached several of us yesterday at the Ft.Worth show. He wanted our input on the buggy classes for the 2008 Classic, and we'd like your opinions as well.

Last year the classes were;
Fiberglass buggy tube chassis or Fiberglass buggy pan chassis.

The show has grown enough to warrant splitting things up some more.

Our suggestion was to have:
Manx/Manx Clone tube chassis,
Manx/ManxClone pan chassis,
Other fiberglass buggy (this would include Kellison T's. Cooncept 1's. Towd's etc.)

Other thoughts were any fiberglass buggy that is not a Manx or Manx Clone would go into the Special Interest or Kit Car class.

Any thoughts? Let's help Steve get things straightened out....

Those new classes look good to me. I like the new distinction made for Manx/Manx Clone, and continue to like the tube and pan division.
