You know the good side to this illness going around?

I don't know what they call this new bug going around, but I've been through it for a week, almost put in the hospital because of it. It has hit everyone in my family.......let's hear it for a baby shower, that all of the wives thought was the "not to miss" event for the winter season.
This includes the one who brought their sick kid to it, so they could "share" the joy of the winter season.
And just to make sure that no one was left out, they all took it home with them to "spread the word"!
I could be upset about all of this, but I did find some good points about going through this new kind of misery, and thought I would pass that along, rather than passing along the misery!

1. It is a great way to get into the weight loss program you made that new years resolution about!
2. I found that I could win the argument with the wife, about how it is important to understand that men don't go to baby showers, that's a woman thing.
3. That you will still take care of them, even though the after effects of the illness can leave lingering memories of aromas that you won't soon forget.
4. That even though she gets upset because you used the dreaded phrase "well, I told you so", she's too ill to throw anything at you!
5. That you will understand that you, just like a new born baby, can release more volumes of matter than you take in!
6. Most of all......and this is really important!!!!!!!......if you drink a lot of outdoor house primer.......You don't have to get up on the ladder and spend hours painting the house............you can get it done from ground level, in one tenth the time!!!!

Spread the word....I think that this is positive and helpful information that could benefit everybody!
If at first you don't succeed, beat the pshaw out of the business partner, and then go at it alone! LOL!
