Hey folks! New member here and I thought I'd introduce myself. I'm Adam G. from Houston. I got into the VW/Dune Buggy world on an impulse in the summer of 2006. I bought a partially finished dune buggy that I found while on a trip looking at what was supposed to be a '69 Mach 1 Mustang. Turned out is was just a standard run of the mill Mustang, nothing special. I saw the dune buggy, liked it, talked the guy into a great deal and bought it. I've since finished it and am now looking to play with it and move on to the next project. I've started a photobucket album here: http://s274.photobucket.com/albums/jj252/epimetheus13/Dune%20Buggy/

I really want to build a Subi-Manx similar to Olli's and Tom and Kathleen's. With my own little touches of course. I'm an electrical enigneer so you can bet it will be teched out as much as possible, and then some.

Anyway, take a look at the pictures and enjoy. The pictures are from when I first bought the buggy and about midway through finishing it. I'm going to try to get some current pictures up soon.

Adam

I'm on the southeast side of town, beltway and I-45 South to be exact. A cruise sounds great I just gotta get the darn thing running right first. I've done just about everything I can think to do to it, within reason. I'm going to take it over to Smith Foriegn Auto week after next and have them look at it. Thanks for the welcome folks. And if anybody has any electrical questions, feel free to shoot, I love a challenge.

Adam

I'm near the Beltway and 288 (Pearland). Give me a holler if there is anything I can help you with (I'm no expert) or if you want to get together for a cruise. Hope you can make it out for some of the upcoming events.
