I would have to say that we as the core of the Texas manx club
responde to the Texas coalition of clubs. that next year admission price be raised and onsite security be provided day and night for the duration of the event.
those that cant follow the rules go to jail.
I would also have to say that we as a club did not follow thru with our comitment to voulenteering duties, I know I dident.
if you had on a red shirt for the weekend you are excluded from this note
but if you dident
maybe next year, wont cut it any more. as there might not be a next year.
now back to our program
Eric glad to have you as a memeber here at the texas MC
our paint dept is a little slow over here in the forums

The few people that shall remain nameless, always go to shows, get drunk, get loud, make messes, and in general get others to feel uncomfortable.
Acting like an idiot, either young or old, is stupid and shows no concern for anyone. You guys will be upset if the classic is stopped because the actions of a few ruined it for all.
This is not the only time that the few have caused events to be moved....and they just don't get it. If one of the guys "having fun" with the burnouts, lost it and hit someone's kid, I'd be just real glad to give the parents a gun, and let them "have fun".
I think that the best solution would be to have the "hey, I'm stupid" section, and keep that under lock and key until the event is over.
The organizers could sell tickets to everyone, and they could use this time to explain to their families how drug, boooze, and substance abuse leads to stupid! LOL!![]()

Oh, and everyone else could get a price break on the cost of going to the show.....that sounds like a win win deal to me.

Patrick wrote:Your correct! It was the guy that had the yellow buggy for sale. He was doing the burn outs and doing the donuts right in front of the trailers which house the park rangers or who ever they are by the front gates.
I heard from two people who have said that due to burn outs and the people camping and trashing the grounds they are trying to decide on not having it next year.
We were in the back of the line for the cruise on Saturday. Two Air coolers were cussing up a storm and trying to fight one another. One was drunk! Okay I'll just say he was drinking a beer than driving. When the cruise started he got in his bug and drove off.

I have seen some displays around here by the air coolers getting drunk, fighting at shows, and generally being roudy. I never go to any of their shows after the first one I attended due to this behavor. But I would not be surprised if yet another activity is going away because of those who just don't know how to behave. Where did this new generation think that tearing up stuff and trashing and fighting is a right of passage?
I only hope that we will not be associated with those who tore up a state park, that would be just great since we always seem to assign our club name to the support group..........I would not want that associated to our club. For those who did......... keep it up, pretty soon they will not allow us to gather anywhere!
