So looking at the memberlist, the first members signed up Oct 2005 and a boatload signed up in the first couple of weeks. Makes me think this was a second forum to something else.

Whats the history behind all this?

yup, that was when we switched oover to this internet provider and created the new website.

Here's the :30 history.....

The club was founded by NealO (buggy1) and me in August of 2001. We met on the national Manx Club forum and discovered we lived a few miles apart. We met at a Sonic in Carrollton and things grew from there. Neal started a site using his AOL account and soon we started finding more buggistas both locally and across Texas. Not long after that it was big enough to support an online forum and had enough "members" that Ronnie Hughes from Houston area had the idea for the first Buggy Blast held in March of 2003.

And as they say, the rest is history.

thats how it works!
I remeber meeting Ronnie at a local car show.
I was in the middle of buing mine and he had just got his.
he rebuilt his and was showing it and I was STILL building mine LOL
He got rid of his and got a Bus and I finaly finished mine.

So what happened Saturday June 30 at 6:35 pm that we set the record number of users on the forum at once?
