Might try the dune buggy archives site - they have a great collection of buggy indentification tools.

I am new to the buggys so what is RST? and also what is a IRS suspension?

These vw pans we use had 2 different transaxles. There is a swing axle and Independent Rear Suspension (IRS). Look at your rear axles, if you have one rubber boot to a side you have a swing axle, if you have 2 rubber boots (2 joints) to a side you have IRS. The IRS came out after the swing axles.

Joe the RTS is a body kit made and sold in Santee Ca. last I remember. You can tell their bodies from most others by the side pods, that is the easiest things to spot as they are different than mine, Berriens or the Manx ones.

Bryan; I would like to go but my buggy is in the shop geting higher 3&4 gears in it. hope it's ready for salado. if it is will drive to salado.

Im in the buggy and a ghia as well
if it aint broke, break it then fix it
