a pre-run of the cruises would be nice. I thin the longer one is OK, it's basically 1 we did 2 years ago backward with a twist. The one I'm concerned about is teh on for Saturday afternoon. I t has some new roads and I'm not sure what the surface is. Maybe Friday afternoon as it's only about 20 miles.
I still need to make up the participant packets. Maybe I can bring the stuff and we can do that Friday evening. Maybe try to assemble what we have for goodie bags then too. Other than that I can't think of too much although it's kind of overwhelming. ANybody else have ideas for what I'm missing?

I'm kind of leaning towards heading up there early on Friday - I don't want to pull the RV through rush hour traffic, especially on a holiday weekend. If I do, I'll be able to assist Friday afternoon, evening with whatever you need help with.

We'll be there sometime Friday. Staying at Mill Creek Condos (rented out like motel rooms by the folks at the Stagecoach) about the price of a room there.
Need to pick up the show shirts on teh way.
No formal gathering planned for Friday that I know of...but there's always informal 8-)

I heard back from Alice, apparently someone has already reserved the Rally Hall for us for Friday night? She also said there is a big bbq pit by the rally building as well as additional grills throughout the grounds.

So it looks like the get-to-gether Friday night is at the Rally Hall at Alices RV park.
If we do it like last year everyone brings there own meat and a side dish to share. Kind of a pot-luck thing.
Just a good time to Hang out and have some good food and fellowship and enjoy the Buggies without have to clean them up.

Need spare seat for cruises

Postby Rick Leddon » 01 Thu May, 2008 7:36 am

Dave Barrett is coming to the Buggy Blast from Calif. Dave has been into buggies for years and was involved in getting the Meyers Manx Siggys into production. He is very knowledable and can share a lot in regards to building buggies and buggy history.

He won't be bring a buggy, but is hoping to grab a spare seat and be part of the action. Can anyone help.

Thanks
Rick
